Information about the firmware update for the GY-HM600E.

Points of improvement in reference to the previous version

•	Add [Focus Ring Conrol] menu to set priority to ring operation Constant [present] varies at a fixed rotating angular speed regardless of the ring operation speed Adoptive [new] varies with variabl rotating angular speed depending on the ring operation speed
•	Add [SHUTTER SW] menu to set the shutter Enable/Disable to prevent erroneous operation
•	Fix the TC recorded with AVCHD cannot be improved into FCP correctly
•	Fix unusually no sound from Headphone output on 1080/60p recording
•	Modify the lens control to prevent unexpected zoom behavior during zoom stop

Warning:

This software should only be uploaded to the unit for which it is intended. If this software is uploaded to a unit other than the product it is designed for, it will render the unit inoperative.
If the software upload fails, and subsequent upload attempts prove unsuccessful, the unit may need to be returned to JVC for service.

Procedure

•	Attach both AC Adapter and Battery when updating.
•	Disconnect/Remove USB cable, Video cables (HDMI, SDI, A/V, etc), other cables except AC Adapter.
•	Do NOT power off during updating
•	It takes about 3 minutes for updating
•	After Firmware update, please go to System Menu and proceed a system reset. This operation will be necessary for a proper update of your camcorder.
